Adam stood in front of the lab doors Anabella and Sophia beside him.
"You Ready..." He side glanced at his sister who had frown etched on her face.
Finally she nodded and together they pushed open the double doors.
Their father stood in front of the doors with his arms crossed across his massive chest.
Upon the site of his children he gave them one of his famous stone cold glares.
"Mary" he called to a girl who had been in the process of wondering by.
"Yes sir....?" She clutched the clipboard to her chest with one hand, the other brushing her black hair with green streaks from her eyes.
"Take the girl up to her room" the father sneered.

The ride back was even more awkward. It took the humans a while to get Anabella up off the ground when it had started to rain after 15 minutes of trying Anabella finally pulled herself up and walked numbly to the bus where she sit on the cot in the very back and stared out the window. Steve sat in back with her watching Little Steve try to make her smile and laugh, even just a little. Anabella didn’t even acknowledge he was there. Steve finally picked up the little doll and plopped him in his pocket. Telling him she wanted to be left alone for now.
