Chapter 7

Rabbit powered up the next day, blinking his receptacles several times he pushed himself up and rubbed his head, whatever happened yesterday was a blank. He quickly found his hat and pushed himself off the table and went to Anabella. Nothing had changed.

reluctantly he headed upstairs. Everyone was still in bed and the clocks read 9:00am. “W-well this is boring” Rabbit pouted he plopped himself down on one of the chairs to wait for the rest to wake up.

The first one to join was his brothers, Spine guided Jon, who took a little longer to actually wake up then the rest. “Welcome back Rabbit” Spine greeted.

“What do you mean?” Rabbit frowned putting a glass of water in front of Jon who meekly poked at it and pushed it around silently; this was quickly stopped by spine.

“Drink it Jon” he instructed him after stopping the glass from falling twice already. “You don’t remember?” Spine sat down across from Rabbit. “You went down stairs and connected yourself to Anabella…Peter and I were heading down in the lab when I heard Jon yelling to you on the Wi-fi, when you didn’t answer Jon kind of let out a squeak and ran from the room….we found you laying on the ground with your receptors very dim…You would answer to us; it was yes and no questions, but still you replied…it took you another 5 minutes before you were completely yourself, by that time you wouldn’t say a thing…What did you see last night?” Spine frowned.

“I d-don’t know, the whole night was a b-blank” Rabbit shrugged his mechanical shoulders.

The spine frowned and looked up as VI headed into the room stretching and stifling a yawn. “Good morning” he nodded to the two.

“Peter; Rabbit doesn’t remember what happened last night…” Spine said softly.

Peter stopped in the middle of lifting the coffee pot up to pour himself a drink. “Really…?” VI frowned. “well that’s not good” he sat down beside Jon who had apparently nodded off once more.
